Building on the outstanding response for the Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra and the Adelaide Guitar Festival Summer School in 2016, Adelaide Guitar Festival Winter School (AGFWS) will be a week of intensive, immersive guitar playing and skills development held at the Adelaide Festival Centre in July 2017.

This year, for the first time, there will be two streams:

  • GUITAR ORCHESTRA STREAM directed by Dr Paul Svoboda, and based in classical (nylon string) guitar playing and ensemble techniques.
  • ROOTS & BLUES STREAM directed by Cal Williams Jnr and incorporating acoustic (steel string) guitar playing, traversing a range of roots and blues techniques.
