The Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition is the most prestigious guitar competition in the Southern Hemisphere.

Occurring biennially since 2010, the Adelaide International Classical Guitar Competition to date has provided a career launching opportunity for five incredible young guitarists: Jin-Hee Kim (South Korea) in 2010, Andrey Lebedev (Australia) in 2012, Bogdan Mihailescu (Romainia) in 2014, Marko Topchii (Ukraine) in 2016 and Miles Johnston (Australia) in 2018.

We are very excited to announce that, from 2019, the competition will return annually to continue providing more opportunities for the best young players around the world.
