After flooring audiences in their previous festival appearances, Punch Brothers return to Guitar Festival bringing with them their celebrated new release All Ashore. Released in July 2018 and having won the 2019 Grammy for Folk Album of the year, All Ashore is described as “…an album of rich instrumentation and understated beauty that reveals deeper nuances on each and every listen.” (The Independent)

These icons of American music seamlessly marry the boozy headiness of bluegrass with the spirit of a great rock band, and the virtuosity of a world class chamber ensemble.

The genius of Thile and bandmates guitar player Chris Eldridge, bassist Paul Kowert, banjo player Noam Pikelny, and fiddler Gabe Witcher is the artistry with which they mix bluegrass, roots, rock, pop, jazz, and classical to create a unique, contemporary sound. Rolling Stone
