The third instalment of the Guitar Expo sees it brim with tradition and cut a contemporary edge along the way. Paired with Yamaha Guitars – A Tradition of Innovation this is the perfect opportunity to sample a wide variety of instruments from makers across the country at the forefront of the craft.
Aumann Stringed Instruments
David Aumann is a luthier who has been handcrafting ukuleles (including his own Base Uk's design), guitars and mandolins since the early 80s; he has a passion for crafting to specific client design requirements.
Domenic Roscioli Guitars
Domenic Roscioli made his first guitar in 2001, and since then he has built a range of classical and steel string acoustic guitars, supplying guitars internationally to Asia and Europe, as well as local guitarists here in Adelaide.
Well-known company Fican Guitars builds unique robust electric guitars and base instruments that will last a lifetime. They've exhibited at the Paris Guitar Show (3 times), The Tokyo Guitar Show, and have had demonstration performances of their instruments throughout Europe.
Luthier Chris Lau is based in Magill and has been building instruments his whole career. Along with inlay artist/cad/cam technician Cat Johns, Lauda Guitars utilises the latest 21st century tech to enhance 25 years of hand built experience.

Andrew Doriean is a luthier based in the Northern Rivers of NSW. His focus is on making responsive classical guitars with great ergonomics and playability, modern performance and traditional timbre.
