The Adelaide Guitar Festival Winter School is a week-long guitar course, held during the July school holidays from 16 – 20 July, which provides an opportunity for students to learn from some of Australia’s finest guitarists in a small, immersive, guitar playing and skills development intensive. The Adelaide Guitar Festival Winter School will be held in two main streams:

  1. 'Orchestral’ – comprised of three sections the Orchestral stream is based in classical guitar playing and ensemble techniques. View the sectionals repertoire; Section 1, Section 2, Section 3.
  2. ‘Blues and Roots’ – incorporating acoustic guitar playing, traversing a range of roots and blues techniques.

The culmination of the work created during the Winter School will be performed during the Adelaide Guitar Festival, 9–12 August 2018
